Physical authenticity check
Before scanning, the operator should verify the document under UV / blue light to confirm security features. Proceed only after the card passes the physical check.

Hold the card steady with the three MRZ lines fully visible at the bottom. TD1 (3 × 30) is standard for ID cards.
